Today, Gina and I attended a Memorial Day service at Los Gatos Memorial Park where my father in law is buried. The event is an annual one that features a band concert, and speeches remembering the people who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. A picnic lunch was served and Gina and I celebrated Nick’s life with other families of Veterans. Let us not forget that only a handful of people protect us in the US.  We enjoy our freedom because less than 7 percent of the US serves in the military.
