Alas, I return to New Orleans to fish the Burras area for that elusive Bull Red on a Fly.  Along on the trip, my nephews Matthew and Michael, my unlce Yun, and my cousin Wayne.  Thanks go out to Captain John L Taylor and his crew for their hospitality and expertise.  Although we had some bad weather and a cold front,  we managed to catch a fair number of large drum and redfish on  jigs with shrimp.  I managed to catch a redfish every day on a fly but watching My uncle and the boys catching tons of redfish was more fun.  We spent the end of the trip  touring New Orleans for a few days.   This time of year is a great time to hang out because of the French Quarter Festival.  I have to come back same time next year and check out the music.
