Fished the morning this Monday with Jim Cramer and had a pretty successful day. We managed a few fish over 7 lbs and caught all the fish today on flies. The bite was much better in the morning. We found a school of fish feeding or cruising the surface but could not get a grab out of them. I have a feeling they were carp or shad since they weren’t busting bait or slashing at anything–more like a leisure cruise around the cove. Fish were at 20 feet. It was a calm and windless day. Just great.
