Friday,  I heard on the news that Jose Wejebe, host of one of my favorite fishing shows-Spanish Fly–died in a plane crash.  It was his own plane that apparently went down shortly after take off.   I really wanted to fish with that guy once before I died.  Its funny how you get to know someone just by watching every TV show they have ever made–taking notes and buying equipment and lures because they were on the console of the Spanish Fly. I love those shows where he would jump into the water with mask and fins and a rod with fish on. I started caring a mask and fins with me fishing about 10 years ago because of him. So Sad..
