Tenkara fly fishing for Carp in the local lakes and parks could be a fun diversion.  I recently lent my heavy duty Tenkara rod –the “Unagi“- to my buddy Rick who is using it these days to stalk large carp.   This was in the paper yesterday.  The Unagi -4205 is a good all around choice for inshore saltwater fish to about 10lbs and hopefully will be able to handle those 10 lb Carp in Hellyer Park.
