Having taken the last week off for our son’s Spring Break.  it didn’t dawn on us that he would rather play golf everyday than to hang with us for the week so we decided to go visit the Central Coast for a few days.   Frank and Kim,  two of our close friends moved there 5 years ago,  and Gina’s sister flys in from New Jersey to stay a week in Avila, yearly.    We didnt know what the appeal was until this last week.

The Central Coast Five Cities is located south of San Luis Obispo and north of Santa Maria.  They are delightful little cities right on the coastline of the Pacific Ocean.  They are filled with Hotels, Wineries, Golf Courses and  restaurants.  Thank you Frank and Kimberly for your hospitality and for showing us around.   It would be great to find a small beach vacation home somewhere down there.  It only took us 3 hours to drive back and I can see us going there for the weekends.
