University of Oregon Commencement Ceremony 6/13/2016

If someone told me at his high school graduation,that my son Mark would graduate from college with a degree in Human Physiology and an minor in Chemistry,  I would have said, “that would be highly unlikely.”    If someone told me that he would graduate with a 3.7 GPA in those degrees,  I would have said, ” you are insane”.   Well today I have to eat my words because Mark did just that.  Mark has some jobs lined up in Eugene and plans to stay there another year while he waits to hear from PA schools.

I was impressed with U of O commencement. Of all the commencements I have attended, these speakers were the most impressive and inspiring. Even though we only paid tuition for Mark to attend, Gina and I will always be grateful for all that UofO has done for our “Duck”. Congratulations Mark
