The cloud cover and low winds gave me an opportunity to take Steve Sakamaki out for a day on the Forebay. We fished from 6:30 till Noon and managed 5 fish . I was surprised at how clear the water was compared to the main lake. The weeds were definitely less thick than several weeks ago and I suspect that they might be treating the water with something. At the dock, you can see tiny minnows hiding under the dock. I looked for fish in all the old places and was suprised that there were very few big schools of fish and the ones we did fine were not biting. Our best luck was fishing the weed edges and fishing a long slow drop. It was an overall tough day.
