We use to wake up at 6 in the morning 5 months in advance of when we wanted to camp and hammer the site until we got our reservations. We even used a war dialer before the Internet! This years camping was made possible Mia scalping some tickets on Craigslist. I have to admit that I didn’t believe she could do it, but she did and they were legit. We had Bears every night in the campground and they even interrupted the campfire ranger talk on bear safety. It seems that they are now shooting the Bears with Clear paintballs to persuade them out of the campgrounds. I managed however to get only one photo of a bear’s ass the whole trip. Night Vision goggles and a paintball gun might end up in the Motorhome next year. Played with a night painting technique with the Nikon and I also managed to catch a dozen fish in the Merced on flies between upper river and the bridge. Not many people fish that section! All Browns.
