Someday, years from now, when Im old and gray, and Mia and I are sitting at my grandsons little league game, we will talk about the epic 2014 World Series that we got to witness and we will always share the memory of being at Game 4. Against all odds the Giants win the World Series beating the Kansas City Royals in seven. Mia and I were there in Game 4- the turning point of the series when we tied the series up. Congratulations to the World Champion Giants. Madison Bumgardner pitched the last 5 innings shutting down the Royals. The boys got it done, and there is going to be a parade on Friday. San Francisco is going wild with bonfires and celebration. For this Giant’s Fan, the last out with the tying run on third and a 2 and 2 count winning the game on a pop up fly in a game 7 away from home was the most stressful exciting moment in baseball I have ever witnessed. All those odds about game 6 loosers not having a chance were meaningless today.
